A dip-season strategy for a seasonal events business

Meta Ads strategy built specifically for the off-season, three new Wix site pages, social content and recruitment support.

The challenge

SkyLight Shows operates in a business with a pronounced seasonal curve. Demand concentrates into a few months and then falls away, which makes the off-season a period most operators simply write off.

Writing it off is a mistake — it's the cheapest time to build audience and the best time to book ahead. But it requires a genuinely different campaign approach to the peak-season playbook.

What we did

01. A campaign strategy designed for low-intent months

Rather than running peak-season creative at lower budget, we built a dip-season approach around audience building and advance booking, with messaging suited to someone who isn't ready to buy today.

02. Three new Wix pages to support the campaigns

Campaign traffic needs somewhere to land. We built out three new site pages so paid traffic hit relevant, conversion-oriented content instead of the homepage.

03. Social content to hold attention through the quiet period

A content programme designed to keep the brand present with its audience during months when there's nothing immediate to sell.

04. LinkedIn recruitment support

We also wrote and structured a hiring post, since the off-season is when the team gets built for the next peak.

Where it stands

The business went into its quiet period with an active campaign, three purpose-built landing pages and a content cadence, instead of going dark until the season turned.
