Making a drone survey company visible to search engines and AI assistants
Full SEO, AEO and GEO implementation on Wix — including AI crawler configuration, llms.txt, NLWeb, sitemap resubmission, GA4, Meta Business Suite setup and a government tender presentation.
The challenge
Aeroscan Technology sells drone-based survey services — LiDAR, photogrammetry, corridor mapping — largely to government bodies and infrastructure contractors. Their buyers are tender-driven and increasingly research vendors through AI assistants before shortlisting.
The site was on Wix, which limits how much technical control you have, and had none of the technical foundations in place: no sitemap submitted, no analytics connected, no structured data, and nothing telling AI crawlers what they were allowed to read. For a company whose entire pipeline depends on being found by a small number of highly specific buyers, the visibility gap was expensive.
What we did
01. Wix technical foundation, worked around the platform's limits
We configured robots.txt, submitted and resubmitted the sitemap, connected GA4 and Search Console, and corrected the indexation issues that were keeping service pages out of results. Where Wix restricted direct control, we used the platform's available hooks rather than fighting it.
02. AI crawler optimisation with llms.txt and NLWeb
We implemented llms.txt to declare what AI systems could access and how the company should be described, and set up NLWeb so the site's content is queryable in natural language. This is work almost no competitor in the drone survey space has done.
03. Service and application content built for tender-stage research
Blog and service content was written around the questions procurement teams ask — accuracy tolerances, deliverable formats, turnaround times, regulatory compliance — rather than generic drone marketing copy.
04. Meta Business Suite and paid social foundation
We set up Meta Business Suite properly, connected the assets and built the account structure needed to run lead campaigns alongside the organic work.
05. Government tender presentation for an Andhra Pradesh bid
Beyond the digital work, we produced a technical presentation for a state government drone survey tender — translating capability into the evaluation criteria the tender actually scored against.
Where it stands
Aeroscan now has a technically sound site, analytics that report reliably, and an AI-search configuration that puts them ahead of most of their category. Content production and campaign management continue on a monthly basis.
